In the domestic market for teaching aids, the core of Punett ' s ability to maintain a competitive advantage is not just brand marketing, but the continuous accumulation of deep-tilled technologies. Since the establishment of the Technology Research and Development Centre in 2010, the team has invested approximately 120 million yuan a year in materials development, digital modelling and process optimization, with a cumulative total of 45 patents granted on inventions and 28 on practical new ones, creating a closed-ring technology chain from concept to product.

The R & D team uses the "two-track parallel" model: one orbit focuses on the geometric accuracy of the bio-understanding anatomical model and another orbit focuses on the simulation of functional material. The introduction in 2021 of a polydynamic simulation platform brought the skeletal joint model down to 0.3 per cent in the stress test, well below the industry average of 1.2 per cent. The platform ' s core algorithm is based on the United States MIT ' s limited meta-analysis framework, which has been improved by localization and is retrofitted in real time.
In material selection, Punet insists on the use of a combination formulation of medically grade polyurethane and biocompatible resins. The "low temperature intersection process" completed in 2022 is capable of solidification at 20°C, both to ensure the complete preservation of the model details and to control the hardness fluctuations at 5%. In the same year, in conjunction with the high precision FDM printer of Ultimaker S5 Pro in Germany, the thickness of the layer achieves the micro-metre resolution of 0.05 mm and the detail of the vascular branch of the single heart model rose from the original 5 mm thick line to 0.8 mm.
In order to meet the cross-cutting needs of health care, life sciences and engineering education, the "modularized assembly platform" was installed in Punet. For example, the Experimental Respiratory Package, developed in collaboration with a Shanghai university of higher learning in 2023, integrates pulmonary elastic material with visualized air current sensors, and students can read resistance curves in real time in simulated respiratory cycles. Experimental data show that the average score of students using the package in the control test for the concept of respiratory physiology increased by 18 points.
Quality management is no longer a sample test, but a full-process data tracking. Each out-of-plant product is equipped with a 2D code, which shows production batches, material matching, 3D print parameters and a 3D coordinate deviation report. 2024 Internal audits in the first quarter of the year showed that the recovery rate based on large-data early warning had decreased from 2.4 per cent in the previous year to 0.9 per cent. This transparent quality closure remains rare in the field of teaching aids in the country.
